Hello, Everyone! Before we jump into the topic, I want to let you know that I am currently participating in the #GenerasiGigih program organized by Yayasan Anak Bangsa Bisa and Gojek. As a routine activity, we will deliver weekly reflections regarding the things that have been done and learned over the past week.

In this weekly reflection, all we need to do is simply answer some questions about the past, present, and future. I will answer those questions by telling a short story about things I went through in the second week.

How much did I know about the subject before we started?

This week I learned a lot about the steps to do data analysis, statistics, and creating documentation for data analysis. In addition to statistics that I have studied when I was in college, almost everything taught by the mentors this week was new to me.

Before I joined this program, I only knew data analysis as a term without knowing more details about what was going on in it. With this I feel very lucky and happy to have the opportunity to learn this from the experts, and I look forward to more lessons from them.

How do I feel about my work this week?

Because the lessons I learned this week were mostly new things, it took me a while to adapt to the difficulty level of each homework/assignment given, but in the end I think I have managed to do each homework/assignment well. I really like the process that I have gone through when I successfully complete tasks with the help of discussions with other friends, I really like group discussions.

How can I use this knowledge in future work?

All the knowledge that I have learned will certainly be useful in the future, because there is no word ‘useless’ when it comes to studying. But specifically I want to say that analytical skills, English language skills, and group discussion skills to solve problems can be used in various fields outside of data analysis. This is because the learning process that we have gone through when we know this has unconsciously built our mindset and made us a better individual.

Long story short, my 2nd week in Generasi Gigih went very great!
