A story about my experience the last 3 weeks in Generasi GIGIH

This is what happens if I would describe my experience as a natural event.

If it can be described as a natural event, I feel my journey for the last 3 weeks was like jumping into a Tornado. Tornado, which when viewed from afar looks very cool and amazing because of its huge shape, it turns out that many interesting things happened in the tornado. If I think of Data Analysis as a tornado, then I am a very curious person who wants to know what is going on in the tornado and then I approach and jump into it. Apparently, in the Tornado I found many other objects that were also flying, I was met with a lot of extraordinary things that might actually be close to me but I never paid attention to before, or something completely new. There are never enough words to describe how enjoyable this experience was.

I want to say I’ve given my 100% effort but…

The learning experience at Generasi GIGIH is an extraordinary thing. There is always something new that I face every day. Friends with various unique backgrounds, cool and inspiring mentors, and learning materials are certainly very useful. Every day I always prepare myself with persistence before starting the learning session. Even though it started in the afternoon and sometimes I was tempted to feel sleepy, I always came back to remember my goal of joining Generasi GIGIH and that was what kept me going. However, I feel that I still need to practice my ability to be able to communicate verbally by looking at the other person’s face so that it becomes more convincing and clear, and I’m sure I will get used to it if I am often given the opportunity to talk to people. If my efforts were described on a scale of 1–100%, I think 99% would be the best number (I use the remaining 1% to take a rest).

A special message for my peers.

The participants’ journey for the last 3 weeks has been extraordinary and enjoyable. We still have half the way to go through. But before we proceed with our journey, I have a question for my peers.

“If we meet again one day, what kind of extraordinary people have you guys become?”
